Fitting Dishwasher Connections
We offer dishwasher installation in Wellington. We install both under the bench and free-standing dishwashers. The most common position for a dishwasher is next to the sink where there is access to the sink water supply and waste piping. This is the cheapest installation method too, to save on running pipes.
If there was no previous dishwasher installed, then we need to cut out space for one to install the connections for plumbing and electrical.

How to Install a Dishwasher where there was none?
If there is no space for a dishwasher, this can be a challenge as it may not match up with the cupboard doors. One of the doors can be cut shorter. When space is needed the floor covering is also missing and is needed to have an impervious floor under the dishwasher.
We may need to bring in a joiner to cut the hole. The 500mm older style benches are a good time to go for a new kitchen as installing a 600mm deep dishwasher means the new dishwasher will stick out 100mm and so will need to be a free-standing dishwasher as the under bench models often have no outer skin.
Sometimes cutting a hole in set of cupboards is a lot of work. It depends on your budget allow $1000-2000 unless your willing to go with a temporary job. ie the cupboard door cut in half and ends of the cupboards not terminated with a stop end and the floor not completed.

Dishwasher Straight Swap
In this dishwasher installation, the water connections and waste connection are already there. Hose holes and the space for the dishwasher are there. We will disconnect the old dishwasher and remove it from the area. We will unpack, connect and test the new dishwasher.
