Boat Gasfitting & LPG Safety Certificates
Marine LPG certification is a separate ticket to residential — the code (Gas Installation Standard for Boats) is stricter, the risks are different, and a surveyor or insurer won’t accept a residential gasfitter’s word for it.

Marine Compliance & Insurance
Most marine insurance renewals now require documentation of LPG compliance. Before you hit the renewal deadline, book a check:
- Full inspection of cylinder locker, regulator, pipework, appliances and solenoid shut-off
- Pressure-test the gas system
- Written Gas Safety Certificate issued on pass
- Defect list with fix quote if anything fails

Pre-Season & Off-Season Work
The best time to sort plumbing is before you head out. Typical pre-season jobs we handle:
